We are a group of academics, consumers associations, unions and other representatives of investors’ interests who want to express a common view about the issues related to the risk disclosure of financial products placed with retail customers or with public institutions such as municipalities or other local authorities.

We strongly believe that, in order to overcome the global economic crisis, it is crucial to restore confidence in the financial system to investors and this goal can be achieved only by canceling the information asymmetry that currently exists between financial institutions issuing a product and customers who buy it.

This is why we decided to be an active part in the process of regulation of the financial system, by participating in consultations on directives and regulations issued by the EU and supporting initiatives to enhance the retail investors‘ awareness of the risks that they assume.

This website contains our ideas and technical contributions on how transparency of financial products can be concretely improved.
